All historians who know about India please help!?

I have some questions of curiousity about india in the 17th century... websites where i can read about this information would be most helpful! :D. so the questions i am most interested in asking (but cannot find the answers to..) are..

What was the east india company?
What was daily life like in 17th century india?
When did change in the british rule begin to occur?

How did Gandhi begin to turn the tide of British control in India, what role did he play and how did Britain begin to lose control?

yeah those are all the questions... i just cant seem to find the answers to them.. thanks for all your help guys :)!
 
there are many east india companies that have existed but maybe you are talking about the british east india company.

that company is the one established by england to rule the colonies in india but the company eventually disintegrated after the Sepoy Rebellion.

i don't know what was daily life in there but maybe most indians are poor.

british rule began to change after the Sepoy Rebellion and change continued in the time of Gandhi.

Gandhi called for unity and told indians to make the satyagraha thing, a kind of protest that involves civil disobedience, boycotting of goods, etc. obviously, he was able to unite indians to fight for independence. because of massive protests happening, Britain gave india independence.
