All black E50 housing on cnn.

i'm not really goin for the all metal black look....i saw a pic of a black e50 with silver keys and it looks cool....I just really wanna see what it'll look like in person.

i just wish the e50 came with a little loop to hang stuff from, cause i really wanna just use the phone as a key chain...
 
hum, it does suck though that cnn.cn doesn't sell keypads. A pity you have to order all the way from Germany just to get a keypad.

Looks interesting, but has anyone posted a tutorial on taking off the E50 housing yet? AFAIK there hasn't been one.
 
Ah, bad bad idea! I don't keep anything except for pens in the same pocket as my phone. Keys = sharp edges = scratches phone!
 
naw man, i'm gonna use my e50 as a beater phone when im workin on cars and stuff outside, who cares if it gets scratched?
I just want one for the size, i got one for my fiance and she loved it....I just never was able to pry it from her hands for more then 10min

my other phones get babied like you wouldnt belive
 
naw man, my e50 is gonna be the beater to my n95...

this will be the 2nd e50 i've purchased actually, I got the first one as soon as it came out for my fiance. She loved it but wanted qwerty so now she has a e61.

i wanted to keep it, but i scratched the battery cover all up trying to get a bl-6c to fit so i sold it...I bent the battery cover up pretty bad(this was before cnn had the covers)

as soon as I saw that cnn had the black faceplates I orded that and another e50
 
So, annoyed by the dust under my E50 screen i started to play to get the E50 cover off. Seems you just pry it off at the top.



No wonder some people's Send and End button are barely lit!


There's only 2 LEDs lighting the whole keypad!

Only if CNN.cn had the Black keypad too............
 
How is the GUI speed of the E50?

The E50 is half the price of an E65 here, and it's even a tad slimmer, so it might be a good candidate as my quadband "destination SIM" handset when I travel overseas.

I only use my "destination SIM" handset for local calls and SMS, so my primary objective is "slim and light".
