ive heard about this ages ago and found the website has gone live. its a cross between shaun of the dead and independance day starring Ant and Dec with a soundtrack by Son of Dork.

Looks good but it will probably go no.1 for a week the bomb and be realeased on dvd within 2 months!

What are your thoughts?

I had heard of it and decided that I wouldn't want to see it, Ant and Dec aren't really idols of mine.. But I saw a trailer for it today, and it looks quite funny and worth watching, with a few well known comics. I think I saw a clip of it on Davina when she had the Iranian comic on, but it didn't seem related, so maybe not.

I like the apparent plot of it though, the making of some alien autopsy video.. I might consider it closer to the time.

Big new film with tiny, tiny actors

I have often heard actors talk about the fear of
being found out, for being a fraud. Why do the
little people not have the same sense of paralyzing
fear, when they dare to venture into the field of acting?

Also, have they decided between them that Decland should
be the one to carry the extra burden of being the sole carrier
of charisma, so Anthony can relax into his role of bad
tempered brute, a role that he seems to be born for

:)

ANY actor neeRAB good material to make a good film. This will be popular simply because these two are in it.
People seem willing to pay to see any old tosh, I despair of the 'Top Ten' UK cinema lists most of the time! :o

Absolutely.

Old plastic face seems hellbent on becoming
the joke of this decade. I have never known
anyone to make such a complete mess of
their own publicity. The Lynx click feature,
though aimed at sending up his Lothario
image, is just another calamitous decision,
in the miRABt of a maelstrom of other ones,
all jostling for the place of The most stupid

Erm, I don't think so.

When I first heard about an alien movie with Ant n Dec I thought I'd probably pass, but actually it sounRAB like a good story.

It's based on the true story of the two guys who made a fake alien autopsy movie, fooling the world for 20 years before they came clean. Conspiracy theorists still believe the film is real, even though they've confessed to the fake.

It sounRAB quite amusing and I think I'll probably go to see it.

i'd agree with that - might be a rental rather than a trip to the cinema tho'.

when i first saw the posters, i didn't think much of it - but they were on jonathan ross - i hadn't realised it was a true story. i remember the footage, but hadn't realised the back story to it, ie that although it was a fake, they claimed they were simply recreating footage that had been destroyed.

i doubt it'll be that great, but i think it's probably worth more of a look than a lot of people would maybe give it credit for.

Although the idea is potentially a good one, sometimes the people in it can be a decisive factor. I wouldn't have gone to see The Usual Suspects if it was, say, Take That in the line up on the poster.

I'll be off to watch this as being a Cineworld cardholder it gives you the advantage of not thinking you've wasted money on seeing the film (Just wasted 2 hours of your life). For people who are spending
