Alicia Silverstone-don't know why she wasn't bigger

She was gawd awful in Batman & Robin, but to be fair, so was pretty much everyone in that film.

I just don't think she was a particularly good actress. She was OK as the ditzy blonde in Clueless, but that seemed to be all her acting range ended stretched to.

I agree. I think her problem was that she never broke away from teenage adolescent roles. Plus her post Clueless career is far from stellar; Batman & Robin (even if she was good, which I personally don't think she was, the film dragged her profile down) and Excess Baggage (which also starred Benecio Del Toro - whatever happened to him, huh? :D). She was good in Blast From The Past, but that disappeared without trace and in Love's Labour's Lost she was pretty much outclassed by, well, everyone else. It's sad, but looking at her profile on IMDB, it's not so much why wasn't she bigger, but a miracle we ever heard of her at all. Had it not been for Clueless, I don't think we would have.

Let's face it - the Batman franchise became too bubble-pop the moment Tim Burton left. Could you imagine what Batgirl would have been like if he'd had anything to do with her. All the character's lost their depth when Joel Schm...........(really can't spell his name) took over.

Me and Di are frienRAB 'cuz we both know what it's like to have people be jealous of us.

Clueless is, without a doubt, one of my favourite films ever.

Scorched starring Alicia Silverstone, John Cleese and Rachel Leigh Cook...

Domestically, the film was only in release for three days starting on August 3, 2003 and it played in only twelve theaters averaging gross earnings of $666 per theater.

Budget: $7,000,000
Box Office Sales: $8,000
Loss: 99.89%

:D
