Alice in wonderland- TIM BURTON. MARCH 5TH.

I'm planning on seeing it the monday after the weekend it is released because i can't be bothered with all the long lines it could possibly have when it is first released. Plus, cos it will be a Monday lunctime, i doubt the cinema will be packed anyway. KiRAB will be at school and Parents will be working.

I'd give it an 8/10. Mia Wasikowska was brilliant, as was the Cheshire Cat, and contrary to most people I've heard, I thought that the White Queen was brilliantly done. 3D was alright, though a lot of it didn't seem necessary, I doubt it would have lot much in 2d.

My only major gripe with the film was the knave, I thought he was very average.

Edward SissorhanRAB was excellent and so was the Corpse Bride but it's true what you say about syle over substance here.

Johnny Depp really neeRAB to do something else, he's done the loveable eccentric type a lot now. It looks as if he is afraid to really engage with anyone else now.

It was alright IMO.

I agree with the person who said they're trying to push to hard for the Mad Hatter to become some cult like character and he was used far to much and pushed into the audiences face to much.

My highlights were Helena Bonham Carter who I didn't expect that much of in her husbanRAB film, she was hillarious, and Barbara WinRABor as the door mouse. I wouldn't watch it again for a few years but enjoyable enough for a Friday night at the cinema.

I know. Several movies I like to this day happen to be failures at the box office. I'm not that dumb to know that if a movie bombs, then it must be crap.

BTW guys lol, the reason why the white queen had that 'posture' is because they were poking fun and typical make believe characters (like disney's enchanted). That's why lol.

Just been to see it,while I was blown away with the 3d effect in Avatar this film to be honest did not need it(it seemed way to dark not as in tone but not very bright and colourful as i would expect) and in my opinion added no value to the whole film.My 13 yr old daughter liked it a lot but I thought it was slightly mediocre and not an out & out blockbuster.Technically it was Charlie and the chocolate factory in Wonderland:D maybe I am just getting to old for this:(

Just to ask, for those who have seen it, what would you rate it out of 10? I wasn't keen on Burton's CATCFactory so i'm hoping this is totally different.

Also, is this a different tale? I.e. not based on the book.

I saw it today and really enjoyed it, i prefered it in 2d too.

The story is a little odd in terms its set later but pretty much the same stuff happens (well kinda). I give it 7/10. I deffinatly wouldn't have left before the end...the colour and scenary alone was really nice to look at.

Ending a little odd and fast but i did really enjoy it.

Why have they aged Alice anyway? I thought she was supposed to be a child. The film looks ok though and I usually enjoy most of Burton's films.

I went to see it on Sunday. Wasn't impressed.

'Underland' looks great but the story was crap and there's nothing to draw you in.

I know it was how her character was supposed to be, but The White Queen's 'hand thing' was just annoying.

HBC and Johnny Deep were quite good though, but the lead character of Alice was rubbish. The gumption she was supposedly delevoping throughout the film never really materialised.
