I was wondering if anyone can help me out. Yesterday I had a full food alergy test done. And now the results and alergist tell me that my diet is going to be hard to do. the only thing that i seem to be not allergic to is air and water... I was trying to figure out why i was always feeling so tired and sick all the time. My major allergies is all milk products, all wheat and oats and everything that has a grain, Eggs, and Bananas. those are the most severe. Pork is the next one and then chicken. No allergy to beef. I have been a vegetarian for 15 years. And then was told that i needed to change my diet to a meat diet because i was severly Anemic. But the funny thing about this is... Soy is an allergy too.

Can someone help me??? I don't want to starve.:(

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. I have a lot of food allergies too, but I find alternative non gluten grains like millet cereal or quinoa flour or buckwheat flour works for me.

Maybe you could try those with your beef, and maybe try meats like larab or veal or venison or buffalo meat. You should try to make your diet as varied as possible too, which I know is very hard to do with lots of food allergies. Maybe also try making casserole dishes with a blend of vegetables, and meat and eat it with some homemade quinoa cakes so that you get everything you need nutritionally, and the taste of the meat won't be as strong.

I know that you're a vegetarian, but you have to eat, and like your doctor said meat is a good source of protein, and you may even get used to eating the meat after a while. I know it's frustrating having a lot of food allergies, but don't give up. You'll find the right diet for yourself. Just hang in there!

Good luck to you!

Thank you for the ideas. I never thought of the alternatives. Well I have never had too. I keep getting told that when i do change the way that I eat, I will feel better. (I hope).
I still have more tests to go through. Like a Celiacs test. This is like relearning how to live all over again. I have a lot of frienRAB that are will to help me, and breaking habbits is going to be hard to do

Thank you

I don’t eat meat or fish ,i just eat meat once a week or once a month ,when party ,or birthday .
And that’s fine i m 82 kilos .with muscles .

You make a diet ?.I think it’s not so good for the body .
Your immune system get weak because of the diet .Your food don’t provide you enough energy .
You have a lake of energy .Your immune system will be less efficient .

You were a vegetarian ,You just stop to eat the fresh tomatoes the fresh pepper ,the fresh carrot
cooked in oil with one or two eggs and a big potatoes .and an apple after
That’s a pity because that’s the staff .That provides energy .Maximum .
That’s what the body need .That’s what makes the immune system strong .
The one that protect you against flue ,or ulcer or any other diseases including allergies .
My opinion .we keep in touch .

Hi R.,
I'm allergic to soy and a bunch of other stuff too. Soy is in a lot of products under different names - kinda like MSG. I haven't thought of soy as a healthy food for a long time anyway but found I was still consuming it.
If you can have rice there are good rice noodles available.
You may start feeling better once you start eliminating your allergic fooRAB.
Good luck to you.

I have recently taken this skin test and had similar results. All of the 9 food tests showed severe to moderate allergy and all of the environmental tests showed severe to moderate allergies. Oddly, there was nothing I was tested for that I was not allergic to. But I feel 100% fine 99% of the time. I went in for tinnitus which has recently gotten worse (had it since I was a child) and the ENT thinks it is allergies. But I can eat the things that I am told I am allergic to and have absolutely no reaction. I think the test is flawed. I mean, It involves injected in 1cc or more of fluid right below the skin. Then in 15 minutes they come back and see there is a bump. No kidding. Of course there is a bump. That fluid cannot dissipate that fast into the tissue. I am thinking of getting a second test somewhere else. If they had told me taht I was allergic to one or two things, i would have believed it, but telling me I am allergic to everything tested is ridiculous.

Thanks for the info. I was tested for a lot of things and not everything came up an allergy. just the everyday things that I have been eating. So this is what has confused the heck out of me. i have no allergies to outside elements bu ti do to dogs and cats. and that has been like that for 6 or so years. And everything that I was tested for 6 years ago that i couldn't have i can have now? So I am not too sure what to believe.

I read that you could do your own test by taping a piece of the offending agent to your upper arm for 24 hours and see what kind of reaction you get. So I soaked one bandaid in milk and another in tomato sauce and placed one on either arm. 24 hours later, absolutely nothing. I dont know how accurate that is, but if it is correct, then it furthers my theory about my test being erroneous.
