i went on accutane right before entering my first year of college, and though i had second thoughts, i got drunk a couple times a week lol it didnt show any on the outside and probably caused some stress on my liver but the doctors always tested me and everything worked fine, some alcohol isnt bad and although it isnt a great idea at all, some livers are stronger than others so it just really depenRAB but i wouldnt worry about it too much. everything in moderation.

i wouldn't reccommend it so much because it is such a strain on your liver, but i have drank a couple of times while i have been on it and so far nothing. but i try and avoid it.

I would highly suggest NOT drinking while you are taking accutane. You can do some serious long term damage to your liver, even if you can't feel the effects currently. But if you do drink, keep in mind that you won't have to drink as much to feel "drunk." this is because of the stress that accutane puts on your liver....your ability to get alcohol out of your system is slowed down...so you will feel the effects of alcohol more. I had a friend who drank while he was taking accutane...and he said he would often pass out after drinking only a couple of beers. But I'd recommend to play it safe.....its only a few months of not drinking, not too much of a sacrifice.
