Alcohol allergies??

When I drink an alcoholic drink, especially beer, my nasal cavities just fill up and I can't breath through them. Is this because I have some type of allergy to something in the beer? This also happens with a mixed drink too. But the beer is the worst offender. I take Claritin every day but that doesn't help when I have a beer now and then. :dizzy:

Alcohol causes the nasal merabranes to swell, especially in people who are prone to nasal allergies. It often happens to me also. I guess we can just live with it or quit drinking alcohol Take care.
