Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm listening to this song and I'm not sure how its so wildly different than much of what was made in England and America at the time.

So Kraut Rock = classic rock in German?

Boo Boo,

Stop smelting, this thread is just a throwaway bit of fun.

Just think of a witty comment in return and ENJOY having a bit of banter in something that's not really meant to be that serious.

Just once?

Please?

Gonna have to give WBC the vote on this one. Rubber Factory sounRAB way too samey the whole way through. Not to say the sound they have is bad, it just grates after a while. I think the White Stripes have a far more varied sound. I like Jack's voice better, don't care if it's technically not as good or whatever.

I know XTC has great material in the 80s that's often considered better like Skylarking and that's just a testament to the awesomeness of this band because Drums and Wires is one of the best albums of the late 70s IMO. Their 80s stuff is much slicker and mature (I love their pyschedelic pop phase a lot) but I love D&W for the rawness and craziness of it, but it's a very technical kind of rawness that as a proggie is easy to go gaga over.

It beats Fear of Music for me but not by much, though if I was pairing it against Talking HeaRAB 77 or Remain in Light the TH would probably win because I prefer those to Fear Of.

No I'm ditching the first to 5 rule, I want the matchups to stick around long enough for anyone to vote, otherwise they can go by way too damn fast and people don't get to vote just because a bunch of noobs who will never post again voted for an album until it got to 5. I could do a first to 10 rule but then I think matchups would be dragged out too long and people would start changing votes just to rush it along or skip to the next matchup anyway and that's no good.

And Science is a very not poor album.
