Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aretha Franklin is a very good artist and with Lady Soul being her best album I had to vote for it. Not to discount Bruce Springsteen's Born In The USA which is a good album but not on the level of Lady Soul in terms of artistic emotion and creativity.

No one has sent me a request so give me a second to fart something out........

I didn't one every 24 hours week days because it at the very least game people an idea of when it would change. It also prevented hang ups from time differences.

If you log in on my time 5 am, so be it, but everytime you log in it would be new.

I voted against Genesis because I actually listened to both f*cking albums and I just happen to prefer the Yes one.

When people pit an album I've heard against one I haven't I will refrain until I've heard the other album and usually I'll soulseek it or mediafire it whichever, it's not hard to quickly download the album in question and at least give it a listen before passing judgement. Surely you have 50 minutes of your time to spare.

81 minutes seems really painful, reading Urban's minute by minute review exhausted me. Never mind listening to the actual album. I actually believe listening to all 81 minutes would make me lose the will to live.

I don't want to ape the popular consensus at all you fool. I've never even heard of the album before it was suggested to me. I thought it was a classic in the genre of progressive rock at first. I have no idea what the consensus is, unless we're talking about the consensus of people on here.

It's 2-1 to people who dislike it.

And I'm going to make this perfectly clear, I am NOT listening to another pretentious, self indulgent Progressive Rock record just so I can say for sure 'yeah, that's bad. I don't like that.' 81 minutes of progressive rock SEEMS horrible, I bet the realities are far worse. I'm sick of listening to Progressive Rock albums just so I can judge them on their own merits. I'm done with it. You can't say I haven't tried the genre, because I have. I've just reached the point where I'm f*cking sick of it.

Entertainment! has far more great memories for me as a young music listener checking out what was going on and catching songs like "Not Great Men" and "Damaged GooRAB." Very intense music, and a great debut.

TH77 is a good debut from a band who would go onto far better things, and I love their Early 80's works the best as they were far more adventurous. I also view that their debut is far from their worst (I'd say Naked for that - far too produced. Arabitious, but over baked and flat tasting judging from memory.).

It's Gang of Four 13/Talking HeaRAB 9
