Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Inacessible to a degree.....but the Robert Fripp, John Wetton and Bill Bruford trio is probably THE KC LINE-UP of excellence and the suggested trio of albums were a big influence on non-prog banRAB, of which Nirvana strongly come to mind. I find these albums especially "Red" to have an atmosphere and tension almost unsurpassed, that anybody seriously into music in general could listen to and enjoy. I don`t find them inacessible to a receptive listener, as I would by stuff like Yes or ELP for example. Hell.......anybody that appreciates breathtaking guitar work cannot fail to be impressed by Fripp on these albums.

Saying all this, I wouldn`t hand somebody the complete KC discography as that would be inacessible and not a great starter group either. I`d hand them Pink Floyd instead, not that Pink Floyd are necessarily easy going either, but most people are familiar with a some of their work anyway.

Dammit, i missed Floyd vs Smith... I vote for Dark Side Of The Moon, my second favorite album EVER, and you better count that damn vote, i don't care if they won, they deserve my vote.

For this one, Marley... Though i don't have Legend, i only have Exodus and Uprising... But i prefer Marley over The Band by a great deal, because.

Reggae > Canadian Southern Rock.

Though Music From The Big Pink was great.

Fell in Love With a Girl is the only thing I can think of that like from WBC. Hotel Yorba just bugs me. I love The Black Keys on the other hand. Rubber Factory, no question about it.

i have got to agree with this comment....i really enjoyed their early stuff and i think the self titled album is a nice blend of what was and what was coming

Pavement - 2
Guided by Voices - 1

Only tried Bee Thousand once and didn't take to it - though I intend to try again eventually - and Crooked Rain is my favorite Pavement album.

i really don't know much of either but i remeraber david bowie's voice being really annoying plus his album cover is creepy

so
Aladdin Sane 2 (the second vote was from james i think)
The Doors 1 (my vote is for the doors)
