Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah... neither of these are metal, let alone death metal, they closest either of them get are a few more punkish songs but those are still not even near metal
(and yes i read the thing about opinions may very, but seriously, you're calling them metal...)

Zen Arcade for me. Despite the amount of songs on it it still manages to be incredibly consistent. Minutemen are good but i've never really dug them that much.

A good way of looking at it. I always think of PG as the third or fourth best double album of all time just behind or equal to the White Album, Mellon Collie..... and the best being Electric Ladyland. PG like most double albums of the era has a huge amount of experimental stuff and self indulgence on it.

MSP don't sound very britpoppy the genre doesn't really have a sound as a whole.

PS I'd like to say I voted Lifeblood because of the chance the band took, They could have stuck to thier signature sound and sold a lot of albums but they were bored. They took a huge chance making this and it turned out great.

Never said they were a hard rock band.
I was referring to the beginning of the song which sounded like it could have been lifted off an Asian Dub Foundation album.
Actually when the main generic riff kicked in I thought that spoiled everything and that was around the time I felt the song got boring.

I couldn't give a stuff about 'heaviness' I was just making the point that the song you requested I listen to sounded like some 70s jazz funk throwback and I was just suggesting that if I wanted to listen to 70s jazz rock I'd listen to 70s jazz rock and not some 90s ''''alternative'''' take on it.

Think of it as buying a Jamiroquai album instead of Inner Visions or Songs In The Key Of Life.
