Album Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No you made that part up. I don't think I said anything about the Black Keys. I own 3 of their albums. I happen to like thickfreakness better than RF and I think the most recent albums are the best by far.

You said "I love the White Stripes but that particular Black Keys album bests them. It's not like the Keys don't also stand for all of the things you posted above. They just don't get featured in magazines like Jack White..."

Its not what they stand for its what they did. Thats why I asked if you'd read anything. I don't see Jack White in many magazines the Keys aren't in. It also helps that Jack plays in 3.5 banRAB and is just generally more around. I happen to think the Black Keys are the ****. If you read my first post you might have grabbed that, I'm just saying JW and the Stripes mean more than music to me.

Wow!!! Who's Next wins 11-3!!! Match 15:

I have to go with FL, I did enjoy the Ween album which I just listened to for the first time a few days ago, but I love Yoshimi. Though I'd no longer consider it their greatest work...

ween - 1

You ever been there? i really, really want to check it out. I'm not really spooked by the "you'll get shot!" rhetoric beause as soon as someone says that to me I immediatly think "ok...you're a nice guy but you're kind of a pussy"

Both Marvin Gaye and the Funk Brothers agreed on completion of 'What's Going On', that this was their best work.
This is no ordinary Soul album, but a social statement of the turmoil, of early 70's America.
Vietnam, drugs, social and civil rights issues are all addressed on this incredible album.
It's no mistake the title 'Whats Going On' has no question mark.

Ironically Berry Gordy didn't want to release this album, because he didn't think it had enough commercial value.

Easy choice this...'Whats Going On'...Motown's finest moment.
