ok.... lcgjukebox works for the album art embedded in my mp3/mp4's but for some reason it doesn't recongnize on the default n95 player..... anybody know why?

does it have to be tagged a specific way? i'm basically dragging and dropping out of itunes to the memory card and updating library.... but get nothing..

Its a similar case for me with the N91...works for some mp3s, doesn't work for the others. I still haven't been able to figure out why. You can manually add the album art tho, but its too much of a pain, imo.

I cant figure it out.

On my N90, I had all my album art at 200x200 and it was perfect.

On my N73, I thought 300x300 would do the trick. Most of the time it does, but sometimes it doesn't work.

i got album art working on my last n73 Music Edition which scrwed up a month ago, it was easy do this

1.Open Music Player
2. Select Albums
3.Left Select Albums
4.Select Album Art
5. Then it opens Albums art " NO PICTURE SLECTED"
6. Select your Cover i got all my covers from the net than tranfer them to my memory card and used them as my Albums art covers.
7. Then it asks do you to replace Albums art for all the songs select yes

hope this helps

First of all, note that all S60 devices support album art. Unfortunately, I don't have the list, but N91, N73 ME, ... should support album art.

About assigning album art, there is free PC tool, called Media Monkey. It allows us to automatically embed album art to our MP3 files. So, we don't need to do it manually to all of our songs. Please visit my blog posting here for more information about album art, http://www.s60tips.com/2007/01/08/displaying-album-art-on-nokia-n-series-music-edition/

Are you the screenshot guy? Thanks for all your work on that app anyways the thing is the mp3's are already tagged and have art just nokia isn't picking it up

Like I said before, 300x300 images seem to work most of the time

I had all mine done in 200x200 before and I dont want to take the time to redo them all.

I've struggled with this for countless hours, and finally have figured it out. The key is that the artwork has to been tagged as "Front Cover".

I downloaded mediamonkey, and upon inspecting my tags, noticed that most of my mp3's had multiple album covers in them. This is because I've tried adding album art to my files over and over again trying to get them to work. Little did I know that it was "adding" to the file and not replacing. I never new an mp3 file could have more than one image embedded in it. So I went through every file (600 of them) but it was a little easier because you can do it one album at a time. I deleted the dup images and then on the one left, designated it as "Front Cover" and saved it.

Then transferred them to my N95 and now EVERY file displays correctly. Absolutely perfectly. I can't believe how many hours I wasted trying to get album covers to show up.

There's a reference in an earlier post about mediamonkey and using it to look up the album cover via amazon. That works also (used it a few times) because when it downloads the cover art it automatically tags is as "front cover" assuming you select the option to embed the cover versus saving it in the folder.
