Was woundering if theres going to be more of this anime some time in the near future. Stopped at ep 25 and the mangas in the 200s. Bout time they release ep 26.
 
There probably is going to be more of this anime unless the creator of this anime is to lazy to make more episodes of it.
 
I loved the series, but it felt rushed in some places, the corabination of action and Lol's was perfect though, more would be welcomed greatly.
 
agreed. i really enjoyed the crap out of air gear. they use a few shortcuts here and there, have afew un-necessary overly gratuitous scenes and such. But overall i really got into this one. the action and the "fight" to move forward drew me in and kept me hooked from ep to ep. Ive actually gone back and done a full re-watch just to love it just as much the second time

New one-shot ova is in the works. I'm glad too, I blame Toei and their godawful animation and edits (compared to the manga) that the series couldn't finish it's story.
 
I'm sorry to tell you all this but it's over.... I read an article online saying that because it wasn't so popular in japan it lost funding so there will be no more episodes unless something crazy happens. But yes the ova is amazing. The good news is that the manga is still going!
Air gear was my favorite manga by far!
 
Actually, I think the OVAs being released currently are to test the rating, if the rating was high, expect a 2nd season, if it wasn't, well you can keep on dreaming for another season.

Next OVA, I think it's in March 2011 or something, can't remeraber. Anyway, to be quite honest, I liked Air Gear Manga, what I didn't like was the anime, I thought it was lame, the animators did a VERY poor job putting it together, it felt like the just pulled the images out of the panels in the manga, colored them, then released them. =/ I thought the anime could be better, yet I still think the manga is way better.

The OVA was good imo but I still prefer the old voices and soundtracks to the new ones, well except for Ikki's voice. >_>
 
That sucks, I hate it when they stop making more episodes. I've been for 3 years to keep on watching and now I find that they won't be making anymore episodes? How ironic. -_- Just like Fruits Basket stopped. Seriously. If they're not going to continue why make it anyways.
