disoriented life
missing a theory of everything
beneath all i see
there's something more
within all i strive for
there's so much missing

the distance so far
between where we want to go
and where we really are
it's so far apart

are we who we want to be?
will we ever be?

how much do we know
about who we really are?
will i ever see
beyond the putrid lining
that betrays reality
placed so carefully
between the harsh truth
and me

i'm not who i want to be
i ask with all my heart
rebuild me
and erase the seams
 
Hmm, it's overall solid, but, it's also very short and could just use some reviewing and tweaking, and it woudl be worth it to add more to it, it's very short.
