AIM 5.9 and Vista

I use aim-ad hack and was having a similair problem. It turned out I was already running it or somehting so it wouldnt load up again. Just go into task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and close any aim tasks that are running, then try and start it up again. This has always worked for me.

yea I had that problem too.. it would start but nothing shows up. now i'm stuck w/ this new aim tri... something. It's nice but full of extra crap on it.

Yup. The process is already there when you boot up. If you try to start the program again, all it would do is add another aim.exe process. What I do is just close the processes and try to run it again. If nothing happens and the process pops back up again, just close it again. It works after I do it 3 times. It's really annoying.

Q: Why would I still want to use AIM 5.9?
A: It's really up to you which AIM you choose to use. You might like the look and feel of the 5.9 version better, and depending on your PC, you might not be able to upgrade to 6.0 at this time. Some people just don't like change. AIM 5.9 won't be supported on the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, while AIM 6.0 will
