Ok, So i just got a my touch 3g and coming over from a blackberry. I have a few questions if anyone could help me out, i would really appreciate it.

First, the phone is rooted already and is running a cyan ROM. However, i dont think the phone is unlocked (i am on AT&T) and when i insert my sim it asks for the "SIM Network Unlock PIN"... Can someone tell me what to do here to get it running on AT&T.

2nd, is there like a android for dummies book, site, something to tell me how to do everyday normal tasks that i could easily do on my blackberry? I know the options have to be there, but i just cant find them (like how to tell how much memory i have left and change ringtones and such)?

3rd since its rooted, i know i can store apps 2 my SD card... how do i do that??

I am SURE i will have more questions, but if i could get these answered i would REALLY appreciate any help!!

1.Do a google search for unlock codes.
2.Go to settings>sd and phone storage>you will see your ext. partition, that's where apps2sd are stored, what's left on the sd card and your phone memory.
3.On a Cyan rom apps2sd is automatic

where did you buy the phone? the former owner should've gotten you the unlock code from t-mo, if it's used. they just need to call them w/ the IMEI # on the phone (inside back of phone, i think, behind battery cover).

If it comes to it, i have friends that are on tmo and can have them call and say they bought it, didnt like it, and are selling it but need it unlocked (i think that should work.. hopefully)

Actually, the guy ended up flaking, i went to www.cellunlock.net, used the code crackb50 and it was $10!! I had the code within 20 min and the guy that runs the site was very helpful!! I HIGHLY recommend using them if you have a need to unlock your phone and have problems getting the carrier to do it!!
