believers side of the debate? I've just asked this of the believers so, in the interests of balance, it seems fair to give you the same opportunity.

So, if there are any claims that any of us made that, to you, seem a bit weird, what are they?

I'm curious. I genuinely would like to know.

The cooling is caused by global warming.

Climate change is used as if the climate is static.

CO2 is considered a pollutant. That is astonishingly ignorant of basic biology. Water is responsible for 95% of the greenhouse effect. Why isn't water condemned.

Blaming hurricane, droughts, floods, severe weather.

That global warming causes earthquakes.

I know you said one thing but no one else has mentioned it and it should be mentioned:

That if the arctic ice field completely melts that sea levels will rise 20 feet.

Hockey Stick - in order to make the mild 20th century warming seem 'unprecedented' they just wrote the last warm period out of the climate history.

The most bizarre claim I have seen here from the believers side of the debate is that a bunch of electric scooter riding self appointed "scientists" think they know what the global mean temperature of Earth should be as a function of time! Please talk to NOAA, folks, I have and the story is not going to be what you think!!

Data from the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) has indicated a dramatic increase in sea ice extent in the Arctic regions. The growth over the past year covers an area of 700,000 square kilometers: an amount twice the size the nation of Germany.

With the Arctic melting season over for 2008, ice cover will continue to increase until melting begins anew next spring.
