Agendus/Digitizer - Is it just me?

Recently I got fed up with Agendus being buggy and slogging you money for upgrades which are buggy. After many years I decided to delete it and use alternate programs.

Strangely I have discovered something unusual. For some time my TT has had the well know digitizer drift. I used Digifix to alleviate this but with limited success.

Since I have deleted Agendus from my TT I have found to my surprise that there is no more digitizer drift. I have removed Digifix and for a couple of months now the digitizer has worked flawlessly.

Could this be just me or maybe I have discovered yet another problem with Agendus.

I haven't had any digitizer problems but I HAVE NOTICED the following:

Load icons IAMBIC - all good. Use Icon Manager. All good. Keep separate "working and/or archive" icon sets under Icon Manager ON THE SD CARD . . . still ok.

But move ''em to the handheld memory to hotsync changes (I'm an icon nut) to the desktop . . . and accidentally JUST SWITCH AGENDUS ON - not even "access" the 2nd icon set (although you're supposed to be able to) . . . and things get buggy.

Not only is there a "flash screen" at startup of the bottom Agendus bars, but once the app actually "hung up" a full second. If you move the "inventory icons" back to the card, you have to do a soft reset to get things back in order. I thought it was due to keeping Agendus in flash (which I was told not to do, but then I'm not lugging around 1MB app in RAM!) - but that wasn't it. It had something to do with Agendus being "nosy" and sniffing out the other icon set, especially DURING A HOTSYNC, even though I hadn't gone in to "edit icons" and selected the alternate set. It was just sitting there in RAM for IconManager use.

With this in mind, and now your digitizer story . . . reminds me of people on the Iambic forum who complain about everything from alarms to exploding cats since loading one version or another . . . . I have no "problems" with 8.06 but if I notice digitizer drift it might be the last straw.

I LOVE Agendus but A5 has come a long way, it's freeware at freeware palm, uses icons, and Makespot can color in your month days as a separate app. I will not be upgrading to 9 on THE SAME PRINCIPLES AS YOU -- no way -- so if I get any "burps" I'm dumping it too and getting "A5." Not as pretty but quite functional and a heck of a lot smaller.

Thanks for the heads up; I'd be curious what Mooseman thinks.

I also have noticed that the bottom corners of my digitizer (with the slide open) seem to be a little off. I tried compensating when recalibrating the digitizer, but then the rest of the screen is off kilter. ll try deleting Agendus and see if that helps. It's too complicated for me anyways.

About A5, I have used it for years on my Clie, and beamed it to my recently acquired T3. I notice it seems to have some minor slider issues: start it with the slider open and the silkscreen minimized and the bottom edge of the week view gets covered by the silkscreen sliding up. I have version 0.1e7(9) beta. Is there a better/more recent version? Where to get?

BTW, folks, when you refer to other apps you are using, please include a link for T3 newbies like me!
