Agendus Desktop for Palm Desktop ..... help!

Hi All....

I have the Agendus Desktop for Palm Desktop on my PC and it locks up consistently when I try to edit in any way shape or form something in my contacts.

Can anyone offer me any advice on things to try?

Whenever I go in to edit something in the contacts, my computer starts running (like it's processing information) and then locks up Agendus Desktop. I am able to get out by clicking on the "x" in the upper right hand corner but then get an error:

?An invalid argument was encountered? and then ???.after I click ?O.K.? :

?Iambic Agendus for Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.?

I have tried to uninstall / reinstall.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Syno

If you are still running Beyond Contacts - which you never replied to that thread - this won't work. BC is an Outlook only program so you'd have to had changed your sync from Outlook back to Palm Desktop in order for Agendus's sync to work.

My suggestion is to unistall everything - use a registry cleaner to clean up the registry and then reboot the computer and put back on one thing at a time.

Sorry Moose. For one reason or another PalmBlvd. is not "informing" me via instant e-mail notification when I have a reply. I'll look into that. Didn't even know anyone had replied.

Turns out that there is a bug in the current version of Agendus for Windows (Palm Desktop version). They have fixed it now with a new build and all is quiet on the Agendus front.

Cheers,

I'll look into the email notices - you can set your global UserCP settings to "not" be notified and if you do have that set as such - then you need to be certain to individually subscribe to each thread.

I don't typically subscribe to any thread so I have that option "off" in the user CP settings and only subscribe to specifics so......I'll check this thread and see if I get a notice and advise the administrator if there's an issue.
