I actually meant SMS Messenger and not SMS Manager. I accidently got the names mixed up. In any case, the steps are the same.
To change the email and SMS app options, do the following:
1. Go to the Today screen.
2. Tap menu Options-->Preferences
3. Select Miscellaneous from the drop down list at the upper right corner of the screen.
4. Select VersaMail from the drop down list next to 'Email:'
5. Select SMS Messenger from the list next to where it says 'SMS'.
6. Tap the Apply and OK buttons.
NOTE: If you have other email and SMS programs installed, they should appear in the selection lists.
