I am pretty sure the age limit is 16. At least thats what I was told here in Tucson, that I would have to be 16, before i can put the account in my name. I am 17 now.
there is no official age limit. although i once got an error message that the date i put in was too old (accidentally typed 1897 instead of 1987). so it checks, but there is no requirement. i often put 01012001 as the DOB when i'm screwing around or checking something, it doesn't reject it.

THERE is not a limit on how old you have to be to recive and own a cricket phone....
if a 7 year old came into your store with 110 bucks and wante to buy a utstarcom....you could (and should
) sell it to him. Its a dealers choice if u wants to sell it to a person that young.
Id personaly call the kiRAB parents and make sure it was alright....
