Age difference

No!
No!
and No!

My husband is six years younger than me.
My first puppy love was just around the ages you are talking. I was 12 he was 16. I really don't think anything is wrong with it.

The difference is that you're adults. 13 is still a child and certainly not capable of making mature relationship decisions. A 16 year old dating a 13 year old has something wrong in their head.

If she was in high school then I'd say it's ok but she's not. She's in middle school.

Keep this in mind. Once you turn 18...it's illegal if you aren't in high school still(there is leniency for 18 year olds while still in high school).

She's still just a kid while you are at adulthood's door.

Try finding someone in your same age bracket.

Well dude, it honestly all depends on hers and your maturity level. Honestly I'm in the same boat but 3 years difference and Imma chick afetr a dude.

Im 16 and hes 19...

When I was 13 and my boyfriend was 16.5 we were mature enough to be together. When it comes to stuff like that, Love is real at that age! We took it slow and were together for 6 years. There is no problem with dating people 4 years age diffrence! But, before that age of 12 there will be a problem, with the whole parent thing. :happysad:

I dated a girl that was 13 when I was 16. She told me she was 14 and almost 15, and I believed her because she...erm...had already filled out nicely?

Anyways, Tosty, I'm not attacking just you, but everyone at this site that does it too. When you are a teen you date to have fun. There are no major relationship decisions until you guys start doing shit like fooling around. If the youngin (Young . Gin) is mature enough there is nothing wrong with it. At first I wasn't even going to date her because I didn't know if she had the maturity, but she proved me wrong. After dating her, a girl who was a year older, and a girl that was two years older, she really was mature when it came to being in a relationship.

It depends on the person, not the year on the birth certificate. Some 20 year olds aren't even mature enough to "make mature relationship decisions."

Everyone thinks they can handle anything at 13... hell, any teenage year. This doesn't really mean they can and no, silk, i doubt you mature enough for a serious relationship at 13.
