...buy this house? Long story short. I am in the military and 3 years ago as junior enlisted all of my superiors told me I should buy a house every place I am stationed at. This way I would come back home with a nest egg off the equity.
So the next place I was stationed I bought this house. I told the seller of my intentions, and that my enlistment would be up in less than 3 years, so how much equity are we talking about. He said about $10-20 grand. If the subdivision was still building at that time I would of course have to compete my price with the builder.
Only NOW the builder is selling my exact same house for exactly what I owe on it.
In about 7 month the moving trucks will come to ship my stuff back to Oregon. We have a bare patch of land (inheritance) waiting for us that my husband and his friends were going to build our house for us. With the equity we were supposed to have.
And then the 2 realtors have the audacity to ask for 6% in THIS market? I dont have 12000 dollars. I WAS SUPPOSED to have 12000, and someone is just going to swoop in and take it?
I never would even bought this house if my SENIOR officers hadn't advised me to and if the SELLER didn't LIE to me.
I told the realtor we have to break even. But I don't see the house selling for that price. Because I obviously have to roll her stuipd fees into the price. But I don't want to do to a potential buyer what was done to us. I'm not like them. A liar that is. Its called integrity.
My loan is assumable. But my interest rate was from before the government handout of reducing everyones interest but mine. Plus I cant find ANY resources for loan assumption because there is no money in it. Thats what these realty people are all about. MONEY.
I hate this state. The drivers are terrible I only go to work and back because every day is a fight for my life. I just avoid accidents on the road. They can't keep me HERE!!!!!!!!! Honking doen't give you the right to run a stop sign. You have to yeild not crash into me!!!
I won't lose my OR citizenship over this nonsene. I volunteered my service to these people for Christ sake. I have an in-state tuition rate there. I have a little girl to meet her extended family...
I am this close to writing to my Senator.
