i researched many cars but could not find any better choice than the camry. i am aware of the recent toyota recalls and have heard the argument many times that "buy american, not foreign". I went to chrysler and chevrolet dealers too for test drives. However the chevrolet hhr and chrysler pt cruiser did not seem to impress me the way camry did. The ride in hhr and pt cruiser wasn't as smooth and comforting as camry. the interiors looked old and un-inspiring. the hhr a/c took long to cool. when i went to toyota dealer, just sitting in the camry made me fall in love with it. it looked so fine from outside and the inside. it was spacious, and the interior looked very inspiring. it felt very smooth ride and remarkably quiet. in the end, i had to ignore the argument, "buy american only". I felt the hhr and pt crusier were badly overpriced and their value is really no more than hyundai accent at most. to pay $20000 for them, was just not justified. it felt as if that was double price. the camry cost $21,000 only.
After a long hard look at all new cars and models, i decided to buy 2010 toyota camary?
