Simple. Money, money, money.
When there is money, you can build good, high quality school to teach children. You must accept that the "Ghetto mama" and her "Thuggish" boyfriend will never change, but give the child the gift of knowledge...the power to over come everything they've been shown to be OK like violence and drugs.
Sadly, many of those same politicians say the exact same things I say...and then go give tax breaks to Fortune 500 companies...and when that's the case, it's a hard cycle to break.
I can't see it changing...especially when known racist like jeff sessions are in the senate controlling the purse.
Sad, unfair world, isn't it?
What's even more sad are people who blame poor african americans for being poor and that they should 'pull themselves up'. It's not their fault they were born into poverty. That's like blaming a rape victim for being raped.
How can anyone act on their good, inclinations if all they are surrounded by is people who do the opposite, habitually? It's pretty darn hard. In manny of these places, you join the gang, or...well, you really don't want not to. It's a hard life...yet blond, well off whites like myself, think they understand it. I call those people willfully ignorant. Unlike the poor, they chose to be stupid and I have no sympathy for people who chose to be blind.
