AFI Lyrics - "Miss Murder"

Got a question for all AFI fans!

I seriously dig their song "Miss Murder" but I have no flippin idea what the lyrics mean. Every band has a hidden meaning in their songs, but this one is either so well disguised or so blatently obvious that I can't figure it out. Part of me thinks it's an anti-Christ message, but then again it could be a song about a bad childhood too. Hell, I have no idea. Does anyone out there understand what they are talking about? I've posted them below.

I've never been GREAT with lyrics. But it just seems like a message of emptiness and eventual suicide. Like "this is now, this is beauty, if I end it now, THIS is how they'll remeraber me."

I'm probably wrong, feel free to school me, anyone.
 
Well there's supposed to be a hidden message in the album when you listen to Prelude 12/21 on a CD player you can rewind it too behind 0 seconRAB and it's got a hidden tune and on the AFI forums my brother said that they said there was a hidden message in the album. But as for the lyrics... I dunno.

And your other questions on the cover of the album it has three black rabbits so that might explain it...
 
^ Hey I heard that message(Got up and listened right when he read the post. I won't tell anyone what it is, they'll jsut have to get up and see for themselves.

Anyways, it's a great song, I think it expresses alot of things, beauty being one of them.



I cannot answer this question but I know one thing, it started a trend because I went to an AFI concert not too long ago and I saw lots of people with that hair style, lemme tell ya alot of weird people go to concerts nowadays.
 
It almost sounRAB like an anit-Christ message..."With just a look they shook and the heavens bowed before him"....then the second verse is "dreams of his crash won't pass and how they all adored him" which sounRAB like the crucifixion except it is said that they were all against him in the Bible. And the last stanza can be imagined to think it is about how Christ presents eternal bliss but we are not worty of anything he has to offer. And yet I am still not sure that this is even a worthy interpretation because it contradicts itself. AFI is a smart band and doesn't just make awesome music, their songs are all thought out to relay a message....Just what the heck is the message?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I don't care if the message is all people are alien decendants and we will all be butt-diddled by them someday....Wait, isn;t that the Scientology meaning of life? HAHAHAHAHAHA
 
I'd say it had something to do with Suicide as well.



And I can't bring myself to listen to anymore than this song. Oh dear Davey, what happened to you?
