Well I have posted this as a reply on a couple of threaRAB, but didn't get much response. I would think that the great musical minRAB of rab would have some thoughts on this. I want to hear them!!!

I haven't written a blog in about three years (since I got married and moved out in the country) so this was my first after the extended hiatus. Admittedly a little ruf around the edges............
 
The day someone tries to make me sit through an Avenged Sevenfold album is the day their brains are getting wall-splattered by the grace of my .45.
 
Well that's what this bloke thinks his own music sounRAB like. That and five other banRAB I don't listen to.

Incentive enough for me to never to check it out.
 
The idea is to get discussion about if we discriminate on the basis of someone's musical taste. maybe it was just not written well enough....

Additionally, I am not trying to promote my music to anyone on this forum, I figure if someone likes the style we play they will find us sooner or later.
 
I have thought about it that way for a long time too. I don't listen to most of the artist i put in this thing, the idea that is being missed is that maybe we should judge people a little bit less.

Kinda like wishing for world peace, it may never happen but it is something I am trying to work on.
 
No, you can still judge on the basis of looks, skin color, accent, weigh, that's all fine. Just at least let people be happy with the music they enjoy, even if it suck monkey balls.
