My man left for army basic on oct. 11 at fort henning Georgia. He's wants to be a special force ranger. He graduates in feb. And from there he has airborne school and then preranger school then actual ranger school. Im so incredibly proud of him. He's on leave in Kentucky now for christmas break so we can finally talk often. I didn't realize how hard it would be, im dreading the time he's gonna go back because that means long waiting periods between letters. I love him with all my heart. I just would like some insight and advice on what is to expect. I don't plan on going anywhere, but all this is completely new, military slang, etc. He doesn't like to tell me how long he'll be gone for, so a rough idea would be great
