Advice on MDA v. 8125 v. BB8700g

Just like the title says, I'm looking at the MDA, 8125 and Blackberry.

My Nextel commitment ends this week and I will be dumping them. I really don't know anything about the other providers, so I'm open to Cingular or T-Mobile (or even Verizon I suppose).

I'm leaning towards a pocket pc, so I guess the real question is what is the difference between the MDA and 8125? Web browsing and wifi would be nice.

I included the BB just in case someone can convince me it's the way to go.

Thanks in advance.

Okay. So let's say reception is fine for both here in NYC. Should I just get whichever one (MDA v. 8125) I can find for less? Which has a cheaper service plan?

About buying a new phone and plan. I've been looking online at letstalk.com. Is this a bad idea? Should I be going to a retail store?

Thanks.

assuming coverage is similar in nyc...
What are the chances you will go somewhere else?
If I break down in the middle of nowhere I'd rather have cingular...
Otherwise t has better rates (usually) both on voice and data. I don't know letstalk off hand, but I've used wirefly and a1wireless online and been reasonably satisfied. Sometimes the carrier offers more options on rate plans on their own site, so be sure to look there before buying somewhere else, but if you can get the plan you want elsewhere you will usually save $ on the phone.

ps. if you don't mind really bad customer service, sprint lets you add unlimited broadband to your voice plan for $15, and they have ev-do deployed (300-600k down vs about 100-120k w/ c or t)

i don't know much about the american networks.. i'mn in canada.. but basically both are the same phone. just different branding.
