I am contemplating joining a social/ business club.....an maybe even be thinking about joinging a fraternity that.
The only problem is.....is that im not really a social pereson. Im kind of a loner and dont really make friends easily. I was popular when I was younger, but had a rough highschool experience. So usually im just quiet and have been all throughout college.
I have been going to a university and want to really join a fraternity, but only for status and for future business opportunities.
I dont consider myself very involved or popular. But I do believe that most people find me easy to spot in a crowd and from experience do get the impression that I have a recognizeable presence. Im dont talk alot but get the impression people know me and may remember me as a loner or kind of akward becasue of this. Girls have told me that they get the impression that i look mean because I dont really look to inviting and I dont really try to make an effort to be social. But when I do talk, people are usually surprised by how quiet and shy I am. It takes me a while to feel comfortalbe being fun and social around others.....so this is kind of why I keep to myself most times.
Considering this....would I do well or fit well in a fraternity environment. I wouldnt know, but want to join one.
Any advice on things I should know about. Would I only be involved with organization for a semester.
I dont appear very dominant looking, usually my friends call me a light skin pretty boy. I dont really carry myself like an alpha male. Considering this.....how would I fit.

I have doubts because I dont know what to expect and dont know what it would be like because I dont see myself fitting in socially....although im still checking in to it and still intend to join one.....what should I be mindful of.
