advice on discussing this with my parents?

so i live in u.s. but i want to be a stylist/coordinator for celebrities when i grow up (19 or so)
but in korea, not here. i have a lot of reasons why but im not gonna list them all here cause they're too long
last time, i told my mom this and she totally flipped out on me saying "then why are we living here asdfjoasidjfosi" so i just didnt say anything
but i REALLY want to become one because its just my thing
but my parents want me to become a dentist or doctor
i dont' think i'll enjoy those jobs when i grow up and when i said this, my parents said you need to do something that's important, not justt what you want.
i really dont know how to convince them it's MY life and i should do something that i want to do
but they just wont listen to me!
what do i doo?! i really want to become one because it's something that i'll definitely enjoy when i grow up

At the end of the day its your life, so you need to stand up to your parents. Say to them that i respect what u have done for me and i respect that u want me to become a doctor/dentist but I want to do something that i will enjoy and love, something that i can put my heart into and love. say that if u became a Doctor it would be for the wrong reasons and that you dont want to do something that your not interested in as you dont want to do it half heartedly.
