I'm a 27 year-old male who doesn't drive, so I'm looking to buy a bike for short-distance suburban/urban travel (quick trips to the post office, barber, etc. - probably no more than two miles). Problem is, I haven't owned a bike since I was about 13. I have no idea what kind of bikes are out there for adults, let alone for my needs.
Any suggestions/advice on what kind of adult bike would be right for a guy like me would be helpful. Furthermore, any suggestions as to what accessories I should buy for the bike would be appreciated as well.
