Advice for escorting the wagon?

Seriously I can't get past this part for some reason. I know i'm supposed to kill the birds so they dont divert the wagon but i have trouble getting both of them.
Any help?

Focus on the horseback enemies first. Try and stay close and keep your gale boomerang at the ready just in case the wagon catches on fire. Once they're out of the equation then focus on the birds.

kill birds and all henchmen or else the wagon will just keep riding away from where it needs to go

If you aren't already doing so, use Z targeting. Otherwise, just fire arrows like crazy while doing it.

Z + B and it should auto aim and kill them.

For horseback enemies, I found it easy just to get behind them, hit your spurs a few times, then slash the sword like crazy as you're passing the horseback riders. If you hit the first guy and knock him off, the second guys firing arrows will usually become stunned and ride right into a mountain. For the birds, I just Z-targetted and fired arrows like crazy. 2 arrows per bird I believe.

You already have your boomerang equipped for this, so just use it. The birds get stunned when hit with it and fall to the ground. Then hit them with your sword

You don't even realistically have to kill anything. The only thing that is making the wagon turn is the bombs the birds are dropping. Ride ahead to the place that the wagon gets t urned at and turn around, when you see the birds Z target them and use the gale boomarang to stop them. Its seriously that simple. The wagon burns so slow you really don't have to worry about it and its easy enough to put out.

I rode around for a while just killing the enemies on horseback and the wagon would eventually find it's way anyways.

lock onto the birds with z before taking your bow out, once locked on, just hit the b button for your bow, and let go, boom the bird is dead.
