Adventureland

I saw this last night, it is a good film in parts with a predictable storyline. Some funny moments and some sad moments. I won't spoil anything for you.

It's a good film. The performances are great and the screenplay is funny and literate. There's little of the gross-out humour that has become so prevalent in American teen comedies recently, but there's a lot of intelligent dialogue and a storyline that avoiRAB a trite and simplistic resolution.

Saw it this evening in an almost deserted cinema. Maybe it was just too early for Friday night crowRAB, but I wonder if the public has lost its appetite for comedies about teenagers learning life's lessons with the help of a bit of sex, liquor and weed. This is one of the better ones, but isn't it time Hollywood found something else to make films about? And that doesn't mean zombies or vampires, either.

I went to see Dorian Gray at 8.30 this evening and it was only 1/6th full I'd say:eek:, I think its just the audience lull between Summer and Winter films.

I saw this on Friday. There was just me and about 6 other people in there...

I quite liked it. Good story, some funny bits, and a great 80's sountrack too!

I enjoyed it, there were funny moments but it was a different type of comedy to your usual type that we get nowadays.

Like somebody has said, Michael Cera must have been busy because he usually plays characters like the leading man........

Went to see this last night and thought it was really good, was actuall surprised with Kristen Stewart. My only main problem with this was the Bill Hader and Kristen Wigg's characters were criminally underused :(
