Advantage using amazon over itunes?

Besides the itunes is apple reason, I was wondering if its good to use amazon?

All my music i've bought has been through itunes, but since I am only going to use android now. And if I ever want to buy a song on the fly it will have to be through amazon.

I was wondering how easy it is to manage music with amazon?

I haven't used iTunes for a long long time because of the reasons listed below, maybe things have changed, but some ideas would be:

Not having to worry about DRM (although Apple no longer do this).
Not having to convert from AAC to MP3.
Not having to do what Apple dictate.
Not having to have iTunes or other Apple software, like Quicktime, installed that leaves countless unreliable background process running unnecessarily which can be difficult to remove.
Not having to install iPhone specific drivers and software, even if you don't have an iPhone, just to install iTunes.
Not having to use a piece of software that will, without warning, overwrite your entire music collection on both your device and computer with absolutely nothing.
You will have a choice of using whatever MP3 management software you wish.
 
Also, for those of you who would like a desktop app to accompany the Android Amazon MP3 app... check out DoubleTwist. This is a very nice application to synchronize music, photos and video to your Android device.
