Im tired of listening to people talk about techno (techno is actually a sub class of electronica but n00bs think techno is anything that sounRAB electronic) and they dont know anybody else besides, Tiesto, Oakenfold, Van Dike, Darude, and Zombie Nation. This Thread is for people who know real Electronica.

Post a few artist you think are good. If you know the genre, throw that in to.

As for me:

Chi A.D. - goa
Infected Mushroom - goa
Astral Projection - Ambient Trance
The Infinity Project - Progressive Trance
Alpha Zone - Progressive Trance
Time Bandits - goa

anybody else? look up some of these guys they own.
 
The Avalanches, havent released an album for a few years but i still listen to their first quite alot. Its a little more complicated than trance or dance or whatever, its probably in a genre of its own imo. DJ Dexter still tours from it, I'd kill to see him live.
 
oh and I think electronica is a sub genre too, you're just as bad as the people who call it techno

I call it electronic music or dance music.
