Does anyone know anything about this? I really like Kidulthood and was surprised to see a poster advertising a sequel in the cinema yesterday, as I knew nothing about it.

Well it got passed by the bbfc today: 15: "Contains very strong language, strong violence, sex references and drug use". Nice. It opens on June 20th according to them.

I went to the screening last week, and it is really good. Its worth watching, I think its even better than the first one.

I watched this when it first came out & its one of the sequels i wish hadnt happened.

Kidulthood was good but this was just utter cack & the main lead this time round is not as loveable as Traef, bless his soul.

i enjoyed kidulthood when I watched it on the iplayer a week or so ago... i hear this one is quite different tho... if i liked kidulthood will i like this?

This film was generic blood. Lots of unnecessary street talk blood. One dimensional characters blood. Unrealistic scene with a stand off with a man with a baseball bat and a man with a gun blood. The most overacted screwfaces since, well Kidulthood blood. They say blood alot as well blood.

I just watched this having watched Kidulthood some time ago. I'm afraid I had to watch it with subtitles as I couldn't understand half of what they were saying.

I know that means i'm not "down with the kiRAB" but is this seriously what people talk like in London?

Yes, I'm afraid that a lot of young people do talk like this in London. Not all of them though.

I was actually raised in the estate that the gun vs baseball bat scene was shot. Now it's great to have my enRAB represented on the big screen but any movie should give good dialogue and multi dimensional characters. Everyone was so screwface it gave no depth and way too much sensationalism. Noel Clarke should watch The Wire or Clockers or Bullet Boy even 1980 film Babylon to see ghetto realism that centres around characterisation and not MTV style loud action, lazy dialogue and identifiable caricatures. Get me.
