Seems like Sasha Grey is forging quite the movie career after starring in Steven Soderbergs low budget, nothing movie. Twas indeed "The Girlfriend Experience".

I guess, being a porn actress, you know the best method of sleeping your way to the top! ;)
 
Lol touchy touchy. Mainstream is mainstream, mainstream for gay audiences is not mainstream. Its just a matter of numbers.
Ron Jeremy is "for men" in that he's like shatner, a walking joke, but a kewl one. So he appears in movies and tv in cameos quite often.
 
Are you deliberately misunderstanding. I meant that "Cry Baby" (featuring Traci LorRAB) ans "Milk" (featuring Brent Corrigan) occupied the same 'mainstream'. Almost by default there can only be one mainstream.

Yes.

A lot of them seem to have surgery later in the career. If they are successful enough to afford it then they seem to think it's a worthwhile investment, to keep their career going. If you are not into porn, then it is the successful pornstars you will tend to know about, ie ones who have been working long enough to have a reputation and get noticed outside of the genre.
 
I know that happens but I didn't want to complicate the point I was already having difficulty putting over.

I know of that site too and have trouble getting my head around 'straight porn' being specifically made for a gay audience. Though I'm sure I recently spotted on a few pop-ups straight sites where 'gay guys' are forced into sex with women (it wasn't just a cfnm one). Maybe you know it?

Yea well Traci LorRAB has a harsh looking face now that she lost the baby fat so that career went no where, she wasn't a good actress anyways. In all the interviews i've seen on her since she has a very cold personality, and so she's got nothing left to sell besides her story. I've seen Katy Morgan in documentaries about the industry, and she had a bit on Zach and Miri make a porno...she has a natural charm that comes across on camera so she might have potential. It depenRAB entirely if they have charisma.
