Hi,
I am 35 years old and have had acne about 6 1/2 years.
It has become progressively worse over the past year.
I have tried quite a few things and nothing helps, just keeps
getting worse. Products I have tried include:
Tretinoin cream( different branRAB
benzoyl peroxide
erythromycin cream
clyndamicin cream
metro cream
metro gel
tetracyclene
minocylene
sulfur cream
elidel cream
Diane 35
numerous vitamins and minerals
food elimination
various skin care products

Unlike many
of the women with acne, I don't have acne just on the chin and jawline,
in fact, my chin is the clearest part of my skin. The type of acne I have is manily closed comedones, and milia or those awful whiteheaRAB under the skin abut are visible. It is all over my face though, forehead, nose cheeks etc..
I had hormone test and they came back normal. If hormones arn't the problem what could be causing this? Or could it still be a hormone irabalance even though my tests were normal? Also, I heard hormonal acne is mainly on the lower part of the face.
I am getting old and tired of having this problem. I am in serious depression and any advice would be of help.
Thanks
Jeanster
