"Adrift" - Wow! Who's seen it?

Saw this film for the first time last night, despite BAD reviews about it.
I for one thought it was excellent - much better than Open Water.
It had me angry, infuriated, upset at parts... really kept me on the edge of my seat!

Me and family were watching it, and we were coming up with so many ways how they could've been able to get onto the boat,... and it was so frustrating!

I think we agreed though that we would've given up in their situation,... I don't think I would've been able to tread water for that long! :eek:

Shame it's a true story :cry: - I wonder what happened to
that girl that went of? She probably died?

What did anyone else think?
 
You know, when the movie ended, I wondered what happened to her. Even with the credits rolling, I wanted to check and see if anyone else had put her fate.

Curious they didn't let us know at the end with the usual "what happened next" text.

Good film all in all.
 
That's what I wondered...

I didn't understand it,..
there was that old man on the boat circling the yacht looking for anybody onboard, and there was obviously nobody there... the next minute, she's onboard with the guy she tried to save laid down on the floor.. :confused:

And about the 'what happened next' thing,.. very weird!
 
I saw this too and enjoyed it. But I thought to myself right at the beginning, why don't they work as a team and try getting on each other's shoulders.
 
Or at least do the clothes thing earlier and get a WOMAN to try & climb up, effin idiots. I hate films like that, I get really riled up.
 
They should have just piled all the dead bodies on top of eachother and climbed up :p

It was better than i expected and hearing the baby cry like that was quite upsetting.
 
Saw it yesterday and bits of it were just wtf!The ending was just so confusing imo lol.Other then that werent so bad,could've been worse
 
I thought this film was absolute RUBBISH.

How DUMB were the people on the yacht...?

They were even DUMBER when they were in the water:eek:

Did no one else think it was obvious who would die , and who would live?

And as for the ending...................
 
Lol!Found the survivor whats her name incredibly dumb at the end.It was so wtf.Summed it all up really.Least Open water made slightly more sense what kind of a moron forgets about the ladder?!
