Adrift (Open Water 2)

A film about a group of people who go out for a swim leaving a baby on board the boat (as you do). However they had forgotten to let the ladder down so can't get back up.

The trailer didn't look too bad, just wondering if anyone had heard anymore about it.
 
It's okay. It's not bad. again, don't bee fooled by people trotting out the 'It's Open Water 2'. Yes, it does involve people in water but comparing this movie to Open Water would be like comparing Beethoven to Cujo.
 
Yeah, I added that bit in coz apparently that's how it's marketed outside the UK. Glad it's nothing to do with Open Water...heard thats pants.
 
Ive seen Open Water. It's a bit boring, and apparently the story is set on true facts, but ....
both of the people die!!
.... so they don't know exactly what happend!

Btw, i put it in the tags just incase anyone didn't know and was planing on watching it! :D x
 
The film is quite bad, really got me annoyed and the characters just did my head in. All that water and fustration really gets to you. Nothing like open water, more like castaway.
 
The ending confused me.... :confused:

Did anyone actually surive? There didn't seem to be anyone on board except for the baby crying when the old fisherman turned up but in the last scene we see the lady on deck. Did she survive or was it a ghost-type vision.

As you can tell, im not that smart. :o :o :o
 
hmmmm I don't think I am that smart either then, as I couldn't work out if she had survived or not either, it wasn't very clear!!

Can anyone clarify?
 
I've seen both and they were both crap.

Open Water - how on earth can you make a movie based on true events when you have no idea what these events are?

Adrift - omg, I had no idea what happened in the end but see above comment if they all did die.

As for spoiling it for others, believe those of us who have seen them. We really haven't spoiled anything. To make you watch either movie would have spoiled a perfectly good hour or so.......
