The only way that Jed Hoyer does not hang up is if the GM on the line is offering great minor league prospects for Adrian. Hoyer worked as the assistant GM for the Red Sox and probably has never had a civil word for Brian Cashman in his life, but if Cashman were offering Phil Hughes, Hoyer might listen.
