Adopt A Newbie: The Music Edition

That just happened to be a catagory i'm fairly well-versed in. If you wanted to know about the best Romantic Comedies, I would be ****ed.

Oooh, Proggy's up for adoption. I think I'll take you since I probably don't listen to many banRAB that you like and vice versa. I'll pm you a few albums I think you should listen to if that's cool.

But yeah, I like this idea, if anyone else wants to be my noob, then just say so, I'll be cool with it.

I'm up for being adopted. I prefer rock, indie, alternative, and electro as opposed to hip-hop, rap and such.

I really want to start listening to good banRAB you can't hear on the radio but to name a few favorites: Interpol, The Cure, Brand New, Matt & Kim, The Faint, Death From Above 1979, Incubus (old stuff, Light Grenades was horrid...), The Faint and Modest Mouse.

i like cherry ghost, porcupine tree, regina spektor, sufjan stevens, the libertines, feist, arctic monkeys, arcade fire, belle and sebastian, mercury rev, peter bjorn and john, broken social scene, franz ferdinand.

Any n00bs interested in learning about emo/screamo/hxc music, i think me and starving could help you out.

just an fyi
to alert any nubs thinking about listening to that sort of music :)

A newbie is generally someone who hasn't been at a place for X amount of time, so Matious is kind of a newbie since he only joined in like January or Deceraber. I wouldn't consider Matious a newbie, he has several posts and is a mod and isn't annoying, so yeah, not a newbie.

But since this about being exposed to new types of music, then it's up in the air, if you want to consider yourself a newbie in this case then you can.

And, Firefox accepts newbie as an actual word...... I just thought that was neat.

Up for adoption. Into lots of genres. Rock based mainly, but everything in between. Indie to metal. A little bit of HipHop, but mostly underground. Into classic music, old soul, classic rock. HOOK IT UP!

I know a fair share, so feel free to ask questions of me.

PS, I'm a newbie, how's everybody doing?
