Adobe Photoshop CS1 program error help?

My photoshop took out a window and only gives me the option to close it. I was working on a big painting and was almost finished, but did not save, is there anything I can do to recover the file?

Who cares if it's old?
I do not care about the new ones, I just needed a program to paint with.
