Adobe for Palm nightmare

I got a new TX the other day but found that there was no condiut between the desktop software and the handheld. At the advice of "tech service", I uninstalled the software but guess what.... I won't reinstall. It starts the process and then just stops... Anybody have a clue? :confused:
 
You stated you unistalled - have you rebooted the PC? How did you uinstall the software? via the Windows "add or remove programs" options or just via deletion?

Reboot the PC and then shut everything else down that isn't necessary including your AntiVirus software and attempt reinstallation. I've seen Norton Antivirus running in the background that will "hang" an installation. You should have no icons in your systray running when trying to install any software....that little warning about shutting down programs before continuing that most people don't pay attention too.

If you are not certain how to shut down all unnecessary software: use cntrl, alt, del to bring up the task manager and see how many "processes" are actually running in the background. You may be surprised. I have 62 running at "boot". Shut down anything that isn't a "system" file (about 10)and then attempt reinstallation.
