Adobe flash player help?

I have a kinda sorta outdated laptop and I have the pop up blocker on here and I can't upload adobe flash player so I can go to Picnik, or get myspace layouts. I really need help. The download now on the adobe flash player site has the little red "X" on it like when a picture can't show up. Any help at all would be nice.
