Adobe flash cs3/cs4 question?

I have been using the Adobe Flash cs4 free trial for a while. I just got cs3 full version, and when I try to open one of the flashes that I edited in cs4, the program says "unexpected file format". They both say FLA file type, but this still happens. Anyone know what I can do to solve this, or why it's doing this? Thanks
 
only way to fix it is downloading cs4 cause there are different file formats for cs3 and cs4. i had same problem did a project in 2007 word and tried to print it out in skool. i open it and its a bunch of jubrish
