i tried to download the latest adobe flash 10 player however during mid-download it stopped asking to please remove netscape 7.1 and quick time.
i tried to go to go to add/remove data but 7.1 was not there it must be saved at another place on my computer like desk top or something.
so instead of making a mess i'm trying to use the backup system on my computer. when i finally learnt how to do that. (start, programs, accessories, system tools, then click on backup.) i seen that the adobe flash system was possibly lumped up with all downloads. i don't even know if it's there cos adobe wasn't specified as one of my downloads. remember the adobe download was interupted.
my fear is if i do a total system restore i will lose everything. is this true? back up restore gives me a choice of files but will all mydown loads be erased? will i be messing up more for my self?
this is a windows 98 so it does'nt have the simplicity of just chosing a day on a calender. so this is hard core manual work. and i'm a bit of a (computer knowledge) inept. so please use as many details as possible to help me through this.
please help
or if you know how to stop running this interupted download of adobe 10 all together manually you can give me that it's better.
